Quietly explore this beautiful river, the tranquility that comes with it and all of it´s wildlife by canoe. Get close to wildlife. You will have the chance to see animals such as sloths, alligators, monkeys, and tropical birds with the help from the guide who will also give you information about everything you see on your tour. After the tour, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican meal at a local restaurant.
A tour that is absolutely perfect for nature lovers. You will spend the day on a raft heading down the Rio Frio. Your journey will start with a 1.5 hour drive through different crops including yucca, papaya, and banana, while making your way to El Caiman Restaurant where you will have a wonderful snack before getting on the raft. You will head down the river for roughly 2.5 hours with your guide pointing out different wildlife, flora, and fauna native to the area. The raft has an electric motor with no sound making this the perfect way to get up close to wildlife so don´t forget your camera! You'll wrap up your trip with a delicious lunch back at El Caiman Restaurant before making the trip back to La Fortuna.
