Save time on your trip between Arenal and Monteverde by using the taxi-boat-taxi. You´ll start your journey by taxi (usually used are vans or buses) which will take you to your boat on Arenal Lake, from there you will hop on a covered and motorized boat to get across the lake, and on the other side you will get back in a taxi that will take you to Monteverde. This is the shortest, most direct route between the 2 areas!
